Key Features: Holistic Approach to Mental Wellness: Aims to improve mental health from a trauma-informed perspective. Addresses a range of challenges, including: Anxiety and depression. PTSD and unresolved trauma. Bipolar disorder and related conditions. Men's Mental Health, Trauma Recovery, Stress Management Emotion Control Confidential and Supportive Environment: Offers a private 12-week course designed to guide participants through mental health challenges. Provides rapid recommendation letters for professional mental health services as needed. Tailored Topics and Curriculum: Sexuality and intimacy. Family and relationships. Finances, work stress, and substance use. Trauma and violence recovery. Partnerships and Referrals: Collaborates with health departments and telehealth services like Zoom to offer virtual support options. Refers participants to hotlines such as 988 and SAMHSA for additional crisis support. Building Resilience: Encourages participants to develop a plan of action for when difficult thoughts or emotions arise. Provides resources to avoid triggers and manage situational or chronic depression.
